4Q 2012 update of Linux Graphics SDK Release

4Q Linux Graphics SDK 04.08.00.02 release is now available for download at-

New/Changes in this release
  • NEW - Based on the IMG Linux 1.9 latest DDK release (Version - 1.9ED2188537)
  • NEW - Supports Xorg X Server version 1.12.0
  • NEW -  PowerVR SDK 3.0 (Version 3.0@2154618)
  • hardfp separate package having hardfloat SGX libraries for the supported devices
  • A new reduced package/installer with minimal demos(2 OpenGL ES1.1 & 2 OpenGL ES 2.0 demos).
  • OpenVG is no longer supported as the current 1.9 & the future Linux DDKs will not be supporting it.

    Some of the OGLES and OGLES2 demos that came with the SDK are slower on this version 04.08.00.02 (xorg-server 1.12.x) compared to the previous version 04.08.00.01 (xorg-server 1.10.x). My display is 1024x600. The demos were running in fullscreen. X is configured with flipchain on. Do you see the same results?
